Suede and Nubuck Charges:
An additional charge of R30 may apply for the cleaning of suede and nubuck materials due to the specialised cleaning process required.
Service Limitations:
Baizel Shoe Care reserves the right to refuse cleaning, restoration, or repair services for any shoes, bags, or caps at our discretion.
Stain Removal:
While we strive to achieve the best possible results, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains including wine, coffee, oil, grease, paint stains, gum, tar, or dye bleeding.
Pre-existing Damage:
Baizel Shoe Care does not accept responsibility for pre-existing damage or defects in items brought in for cleaning, restoration, or repair.
Personal Items:
Baizel Shoe Care is not liable for the loss of personal items left with us. Customers should only leave items intended for cleaning, restoration, or repair.
Unclaimed Items:
Items left unclaimed for more than 14 days without prior arrangement may incur a storage fee of R100 per week. After an extended period, unclaimed items may be donated to charity.
Quality Assurance:
We make every effort to provide high-quality cleaning services, but do not accept liability for damage resulting from normal cleaning processes where care instructions were not provided.
Material Bleeding:
Baizel Shoe Care is not responsible for material bleeding, such as suede or leather dye, during cleaning.
Lost or Damaged Items:
Claims must be made within 3 days of collection, pick-up, or delivery.
Compensation will not exceed the lower of the following:
• Three times the cleaning service charge (maximum R600)
• Replacement value based on proof of purchase:
75% within 30 days
50% between 31–365 days
25% after 1 year
Lost or damaged items become the property of Baizel Shoe Care upon reimbursement.
Baizel Shoe Care may offer physical or electronic gift cards and promotional coupons, which can be used on the website for purchasing goods.
Gift Cards:
• Cannot be exchanged for cash
• Do not earn interest
• Cannot be used to purchase other gift cards
Coupons are issued at the discretion of Baizel Shoe Care and may be cancelled or rejected if distributed in an unauthorised manner.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order placed with us. This may include limiting quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.
You agree to provide accurate and current billing and account information for all purchases made on the website.
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
Items must:
• Be unused
• Be in the same condition as received
• Be in the original packaging
Sale items are not refundable.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
We may provide access to third-party tools, which we do not monitor or control. Your use of these tools is entirely at your own risk.
